Busy Days! We have been out of town a lot and it seems like I am just getting my head wrapped around Christmas.  Thought I would share a little of the "happenings."   She is truly a beauty! It was so much fun seeing my niece (Dorian's daughter) and her son Jax!  We don't get to see them nearly as much as we should.  Thank goodness for dental appointments!  Patti is her usual bubbly self and I loved chatting with her!  She loves working on family history and I think she knows more abouth the Hatches than I do!! Yesterday was Lesli's birthday and it was so fun to have her want to share it with us!  I made a cake and even though it was a cake mix the frosting was homemade and I loved the hug Lesli gave me for that.  I tried a fudge frosting. Taking George into hospital today.  I hope all goes well.  The dr. said yesterday that if there is extra damage a tendon may have to be cut which would make the bicep drop a little.  Or, if there is any arthritic damage.  I am pretty sure everything will be Ok but after hearing what might happen things get a little "worrisome."  We are going to have a bad few days I think.  Well, here we go!

Well, 2010 is almost here & I think I am ready to ring in a New Year. A lot has happened this past year-trips,a birth, & a death of George's second sister, Beth. Yesterday, I took down all the Christmas decorations & George packed the heavy loads downstairs. I think we are going to have to move the decorations upstairs as it is getting harder for him to do. Sometimes, I feel a little left out as a Utah State graduate amongst our BYU family but today I received my Utah State magazine with Merlin Olsen on the cover & it brought back good memories. Troy & the six children came Sat. They arrived early, about 1:00 and so we had some good time visiting. I was amazed at how far Victor, Tanya, and Ana have come with their English--it is truly amazing. Grant has grown so tall. He was shorter than me the last time I saw him. Grant and Victor have spent the nights at Kim's house. Lesli had Morgan, Tanya, and Ana at her house Sat. night.

We had a great brunch at Kim and Sheree's--ham, french toast, different breads, bacon, potato omelet (I have had this recipe since the children were young) and Kim does a great job of making it! I wish I had taken pics of all the food but I didn't--maybe next year!

Christmas Eve Day was spent finishing the details for family to come over. I actually set the tables the night before and am glad i did since I spent Christmas Eve morning getting things ready for the recital and dinner.
